Teams in Quebec’s Division 1 college football league will begin their quest toward a championship within the next two weeks, as the kickoffs for the first games of the season is set for the weekend of August 20.
The Vanier College Cheetahs will attempt to defend their championship this year after defeating the CEGEP du Vieux-Montréal Spartiates in last season’s Bol d’Or by a score of 31-28.
The Champlain-Lennoxville College Cougars football team will begin its 2011 season on Saturday, August 20 against the Cheetahs on Bishop’s University’s Coulter Field at 1 p.m.
