September 21, 2011

Hockey players and poker stars came together on September 10 and 11 to take part in a unique charity event named the “NLH Faceoff,” which brought together some of the NHL’s biggest names of the past and present as they paired up with professional poker players to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
The event took place at Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Que., and raised $50,000 for the Jodi Taiger Lazarus Fund for Hereditary Breast Cancer Research at McGill University.
