Passed away at the Magog Hospital on December 24, 2012 in her 80th year, beloved wife of John Kimpton for 60 years.
Passed away at the CSSS Memphremagog on Monday, May 20, 2013.
Passed away at the Maison Aube Lumiere on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the age of 90 years.
Suddenly at the age of 51 on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at home with his family.

The Sherbrooke Phoenix announced on Thursday that they have hired Benoit Desrosiers as their new assistant coach. Desrosiers spent last season as an assistant coach with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens.
Prior to joining Chicoutimi, the 24-year-old Desrosiers was an assistant with the College Esther-Blondin Phénix, who advanced to the Telus Cup national championship game in 2012. With the Phénix, Desrosiers helped coached current Phoenix players Daniel Audette, Dominic Talbot-Tassi, and Vincent Deslauriers.

On Sunday morning, Russ Anber, a world-class boxing trainer who trained four Olympians and a world champion, along with Julia Smith, Rival’s customer service manager and their spouses, made a surprise visit to the Missisquoi North Youth Centre Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) and Former Youth Involvement (FYI) leadership retreat weekend held on May 18 and 19 at the Horizon Hotel in Sutton.

With the arrival of warm weather across the Eastern Townships gardeners are busy planting their annuals, bikes are being taken out of storage and golfers are dusting off their bags and heading to their favourite courses. This time of the year also brings local golf tournaments that promise a full day of golf, food and drink and good company.
The first is the 27th annual Gaiter Classic, which will be held this year at the Royal Bromont Golf Club on June 7.

The fifth annual Piper Classic will be held Friday, June 28 at 1 p.m. at Milby Golf Club with a Vegas format.

A long list of volunteers will come together the weekend of May 31-June 2 to help set the stage for the annual wish granting ceremony for a local child through the Children’s Wish Foundation.
This year, Tori, from Magog, will receive a 30 foot conquest camper trailer to enjoy with her family. The trailer is ideal for Tori, a horse enthusiast, to camp with all the comforts of home during trips to horse shows and family weekend outings. Tori intends to break in the trailer with her family during the music fest weekend.
