The six residences targeted are said to be interconnected in a drug-selling operation. With the aid of drug-sniffing dogs, officers seized a significant amount of methamphetamines (a.k.a. speed), cannabis, and magic mushrooms. |

 MTQ Foresees the reopening of Montcalm bridge in mid-November -two weeks before anticipated. The Montcalm Bridge will be reopened two weeks earlier than planned, according to Louis Ferland, Eastern Townships’ regional director of the Quebec Transport Ministry. “With the way that the site has evolved, the Ministry is able to announce today that the Montcalm Bridge will be open to traffic about two weeks earlier than planned,” he said. “If the weather continues to be favorable, the bridge will be open by mid-November.” |
