Butter knife robber quickly nabbed

A Sherbrooke man was arrested in downtown Sunday after robbing a dépanneur with a butter knife.
The suspect showed up at the Au Marché de Sherbrooke store on Wellington South at around 8:25 a.m. and threatened the owner with the knife. After grabbing some money, he then fled on foot.
Police were able to locate the 18-year-old suspect shortly thereafter on Cathédrale St., where he was arrested, still in possession of the knife and money.
Well-known to police, the man was arraigned Monday on a charge of armed robbery.
