The Brome-Missisquoi MRC unanimously passed a resolution (177-0518) at its May 16 meeting approving Faubourg Lac-Brome, a residential housing project on Lakeside Road in Foster. The project, initiated by developer Marc Brochu, involves the construction of 47 housing units on 67 hectares of land that once served as a golf club at 710 Lakeside Road (route 243) in Foster. The property is currently owned by the Allard family; Brochu’s intention iås to move forward with the land purchase and the development project as soon as possible.
