The tenant of an apartment on Ruisseau-Rouge St. in Magog where a fire broke out shortly before noon on Monday was overcome by smoke but not seriously injured.
The fire quickly spread throughout the building and by the time firefighters arrived, the fire had already engulfed the building.
The cause of the fire had yet to be determined at press time.
