Ulverton victim had lengthy criminal history

The man found dead beside Highway 55 in Ulverton this week had a lengthy criminal history.
Jean-Francois Henri, 41, Magog was found dead Monday around 7 a.m. at the rest stop of the mill along Highway 55. Henri had been involved in criminal cases in recent years in both Drummondville and Magog.
An autopsy performed Tuesday at the Montreal Laboratory of Forensic Sciences and Medicine confirmed that Henri had been the victim of violence but the Sûreté du Québec declined to reveal any more details as the investigation is ongoing. They also would not reveal whether there are any suspects in the case.
Henri’s criminal history dates back to 2001. Since then, he has been charged in 54 cases in the judicial districts of Saint-François and Drummondville by the Régie de police Memphrémagog, the Sûreté du Québec and the Sherbrooke Police Department. His last conviction was in early 2018 when he was sentenced to 45 days in prison for various breaches of conditions.
