Snoozing on a July afternoon in the Townships
Snoozing on a July afternoon in the Townships
Beautiful picture of the city of Magog with fall foliage. Soon this will be a 2011 reality.
Mascot at event which was held Saturday, August 13 in Sutton.
As Hurricane Irene continues to travel up the east coast, The Record offices were visited by a post-shower rainbow and vibrantly coloured skies Friday evening.
I am sending along arguably one of the finest shots ever of one of the Seven Wonders of the Eastern Townships.
This is largely the work of a single person, a volunteer - Kim Prangley, aided and abetted by Gabriel Safdie who has put a lot of his own bucks into revitalizing the downtown core of the town. Like those wonderful shots we see of Stonehenge, this has the potential of becoming iconic. So many people have heard about it, but not a lot have seen it - and they MUST!
I hope this image, shot in the early hours of the morning on a foggy November day, can be brought to the attention and enjoyment of your readers.

The holiday lights display at 11 Carl st. in Lennoxville have impressed some of our readers who felt The Record should print this photo for all to enjoy.
