Our lives are full of unanswered questions, and without passion we wouldn’t have answers. Undeniably, the members of STOP! TV exude passion, and have answered: What is happiness?
They work at their crafts knowing that each show will be shaped by them in some way, and that they are helping develop talent.
Rugge Thomson, a member of our crew, understands: “... there has always been someone in my family passionate about the moving image. From my grandmother

Good Reads: Two cups flour, a pinch of salt, and murder

Two new mystery novels – or at least, two novels new to the Lennoxville Library! – have a lot in common. To start, they’ll send you right into the kitchen for a snack.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. Both feature female amateur sleuths, and both these civilians do rather dumb things as they investigate murders. Both include reporters as pivotal characters. The tomes are second volumes in each of their series, and so the detectives have a bit of history behind them.

Country Connection: George Strait is still ‘The King’

Early in the spring, “King” George announced his retirement from extensive touring, his current Cowboy Rides Away Tour being the last one. This new release, his 40th CD should reassure his fans that he’s not departing the studio, just the road.
George Strait just celebrated his 61st birthday on May 18, but it is his fans who got the gift with his new album titled Love is Everything on MCA Nashville.

Curtain rises in June on an exceptional summer season at Theatre Lac Brome

For the second consecutive season Theatre Lac Brome will be offering repertory theatre productions in English and French, while also inaugurating a new “Festival of Chanson Lyrique.”
“Last year Louise Marleau and Albert Millaire, two of the most recognized and successful actors in Quebec, starred on alternating nights in a French language presentation of ‘Cher Menteur’ and then an English one of ‘Dear Liar’ to the delight of our audience,” explained Nicholas Pynes, artistic and general director.
