A section of College Street in Sherbrooke will be closed on Tuesday, May 27, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., between Queen and St. Francis streets, to allow for water main repairs.
A release states that traffic will be detoured via Queen Street and Highway 410. Pedestrians may use the north sidewalk on Queen, while cyclists must dismount to bypass the work zone.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, leave early, and consult Sherbrooke’s interactive traffic map at sherbrooke.ca/travaux for updates. The city also recommends using GPS apps for alternate routes and signing up for local alerts through the Mon Sherbrooke portal.
