SFVNC presents Boisé Ascot-Lennox Woodland: Nature in our Hearts. The Ascot-Lennox Woodland is a forest of high ecological and social value in the heart of the city of Sherbrooke.
Wednesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. at the Amédée Beaudoin Community Centre (10 rue Samuel Gratham), Mathieu Vinette, President of the Association for the Boisé Ascot-Lennox (ABAL), will allow us to better appreciate the BAL’s ecological and social value, the project’s roots in the community, and the civic engagement that has enabled it to make giant strides forward. In collaboration with Nature Cantons-de-l’Est, ABAL is proposing to make these woods a permanently protected area accessible to citizens, while respecting the boundaries of the ecosystems found there. Admission is free!
