Wrestling fundraiser at Coaticook arena

The Gérard-Couillard Arena will host a night of professional wrestling on Saturday, May 31, with all proceeds going to four local organizations: Coaticook Minor Baseball (Rocket), the Coaticook Volunteer Action Centre, the Coaticook Youth House, and Centraide Estrie.

The event, billed as a “multi-cause professional wrestling benefit show,” will begin at 7:30 p.m. and promises action-packed entertainment featuring regional talent, including wrestlers from Coaticook. The event is designed to unite the community while supporting important local services.

The show will be produced by veteran wrestler Andy Turmel, also known as SPARK, and will include a special rookie match to showcase emerging talent from the region.

Attendees can also expect door prizes, a merchandise booth, and a convenience counter for snacks and drinks.

Ticket prices are set at $20 for general admission in advance, $25 for front-row VIP seating (available online only), and $350 for VIP tables seating six. Children 12 and under can attend for free.

Tickets are available at www.coatislam.com and at several local businesses in Coaticook, Sherbrooke, Magog, and Ayer’s Cliff.
