Operation Nez Rouge ends another successful year

The 2017 Operation Nez Rouge campaign has ended and its organizers are celebrating a 34th year of success. This year’s campaign mobilized no fewer than 51,261 volunteers in 100 Canadian communities, including 39,668 in 61 regions of Quebec. The commitment of these volunteers to making roads safer resulted in 71,430 rides in Canada, of which 53,743 were in Quebec. In the Sherbrooke region some 3,880 rides were provided, with about 25 per cent of these coming from satellite centres in Magog, Coaticook, the Haut-St-François and Val-St-François. Accompanied by its two long-time partners, the Société de l 'assurance automobile du Québec and Desjardins, Operation Nez Rouge is thrilled with this success and is already planning to begin its 35th edition on November 30, 2018.
