The third Sherbrooke Adult Hockey Tournament, benefiting the Justin-Lefebvre Foundation, ended Sunday afternoon at the Thibault GM Sports Complex in Sherbrooke.

The big adult field hockey party brought together dozens of hockey players who tried to leave with top honors while also helping the local Eastern Townships foundation.

Before presenting the final prizes to the finalists and champions of the house class, the president of the tournament, Sylvain Donahue presented a cheque for $19,000 to the president of the Justin-Lefebvre Foundation, Patrick Lefebvre, and to the family of honour, Marie-Pier Savaria and Benoit Lefebvre.

In three editions of hosting the tournament, more than $64,000 was raised for the Justin-Lefebvre Foundation.

The tournament was split up into three categories. Winning the participation class were the Sherbrooke Mighty Ducks. The 35-year old and over category was won by the Rock Forest Rockets and the Trois-Rivières Draveurs took home the house category.

The next Sherbrooke Adult Hockey Tournament will be held from May 3 to 5, 2024 at the Thibault GM Sports Complex in Sherbrooke.
