By Louise Smith – Shirley Bilson lives in Drummondville, which is pretty far away from Heroes’ Memorial School in Cowansville. She is related to one of the Kindergarten teachers, Linda Desrosiers, through her husband. For the last three years Shirley has knitted over 100 pairs of mittens for the students of Heroes’ Memorial.
