The Sherbrooke police had an unusually busy weekend, with eight different traffic accidents involving minor injuries between Friday evening and Sunday night. Seven of the accidents involved two or more vehicles, and a total of ten people were sent to hospital for their injuries, although no one was considered to be in life-threatening condition. Along with those not transported to hospital, a total of 13 people were injured in the accidents, including an eight-year-old boy.
The weekend update also included two incidents of impaired driving.
