As a part of their ongoing 12 Days of Action Against Gender-Based Violence, the Lennoxville & District Women’s Centre has been coordinating the creation of a mosaic mural by different members of the local community over the last couple of days. The work is composed of 54 individual squares each painted with their own image that, when joined together, form a collective message of solidarity and support.

The finished product will be unveiled on the evening of Monday, December 6, in Square Queen as a part of a candlelit vigil held in honor of all victims of gender-based violence. It will then remain on display in the square for a short time before being moved to the Women’s Centre.
