Last weekend doctors, nurses, transplant recipients, donor families, teachers, students, elite climbers and public figures gathered together at 16 different mountains across Quebec to participate in the Chain of Life Challenge: an annual fundraising and awareness campaign for organ donation.
The Chain of Life Challenge is a large gathering each year, on the World Day for Organ and Tissue Transplantation, where everyone in the “donation chain” comes together to support a unique education program aimed at having youth aged 15 to 17 years old become ambassadors for family discussions on organ and tissue donation.
