For the 21st edition of its annual gourmet dinner, La Maison Aube-Lumière is proposing a Mediterranean cruise evening to be held Thursday, April 19, at 5:30 pm at the Sherbrooke Exhibition Center.
Martin Ratté, Executive Director of the Caisse Desjardins du Nord de Sherbrooke, will serve as ‘captain’ of the evening.
“While enjoying a gastronomic experience and a festive musical evening, you will contribute to the financing of La Maison Aube-Lumière. So do not miss the boat! ” Ratté said.
L’Envol … en croisière ” offers a lively evening that begins with a six-course Mediterranean gourmet adventure prepared by Le Poivron rouge, which impressed guests last year with its quality of service and its flavourful meals. The Private Club Band will provide the musical entertainment in three sets, during the cocktail, during the main meal, and during the late evening for those who want to dance. Throughout the “expedition”, passengers will be able to choose from the many bargains that will be offered as part of the called and silent auctions.
The ‘ship’ will leave port at 5:30 pm and the trip is scheduled to finish at approximately 10:30 pm. People are encouraged to prepare their evening dress and to reserve their boarding pass now by calling 819-821-3120, through email at info@aubelumiere.com or online at www.aubelumiere.com/envol.
Since 1997, La Maison Aube-Lumière has hosted more than 3,000 people with end-of-life cancer free of charge. In addition to housing, La Maison provides high quality palliative care and accompanies patients and their loved ones in a climate of warmth and respect for their choices and values. To achieve its mission, the Maison must collect approximately a million dollars per year from the local community.
