Lennoxville’s annual community cleanup hit the streets on Saturday morning to clear away the garbage left behind after the winter snow. Despite less than ideal weather conditions, the troupe of volunteer trash-collectors both young and old kept up a springtime tradition in the borough by taking a few hours out of their day to reduce the amount of waste spread around town. “It went really well,” said Borough President Claude Charron, although he added that because of the large amount of water in ditches it was impossible to be as thorough as in past editions. “There’s so much stuff out there, we can’t get it all.” See full story in the Tuesday, April 30 edition of The Record.
