While most citizens dread the idea of waking up at 4 a.m. on a Saturday, a local Townshipper is looking forward to it.

Sarah Preston of Baldwin’s Mills said she’s looking forward to celebrating the coronation of King Charles III – a symbolic ceremony combining a religious service and pageantry.

Preston said real monarchists will wake up, drink coffee in Union Jack mugs, have scones, strawberries and cream and toast the king.

“I am all set for 4 a.m. on Saturday with good coffee in Union Jack mugs, strawberries, blueberries and cream,” said Sarah Preston. “The scones will be made on Friday as I refuse to get up at three, even for the King.”

Preston said she firmly believes King Charles III will be a good King, adding more people should support him.
