The Magog Cantonniers had a perfect weekend with a 7-4 win over the Estacades on Sunday afternoon in Trois-Rivières.
The game was very close as Samuel Collard’s team was leading 4-3 after 40 minutes of play.
Antoine Boudreau’s fourth goal of the season proved to be the winning goal on the power play at 5:49 of the third period.
Then, during a penalty to Alexis Toussaint late in the game, teammates Antoine Fontaine and Connor Macey put pucks into an empty net since goaltender Alexis Cournoyer left the ice to give the team an extra man.
