By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – The Coopérative de développement économique communautaire (CDEC) has inaugurated a new Frigo Free Go at Mitchell-Montcalm High School, the second in the Commission scolaire de la Région-de-Sherbrooke. First launched in 2016 in downtown Sherbrooke, the community fridge initiative has grown in the Eastern Townships and aims to help reduce food waste in a way that gives back to the community.
