It was great to be back— We’re already looking forward to next year!
The Richmond St. Patrick’s Society and Festival goers were delighted to celebrate this year’s Irish Heritage Festival — LIVE! — after the last-minute cancellation of the festival in 2020 and an online version in 2021 due to the pandemic. The month-long festival, made possible thanks to the support of partners, including the Centre d’art de Richmond, was back bigger and better than ever with fabulous live concerts, art and heritage events, gatherings, and the traditional parade.
It was with great anticipation that the Richmond St. Patrick’s Society had scheduled many live events from March 5 through March 27. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds enjoyed live music, storytelling, Irish cookery, art and heritage, games, and the ever-popular St-Patrick’s Day parade—community spirit is clearly alive and well in Richmond and vicinity!
