The Parc Découverte Nature near Baldwin’s Mills will be open every Saturday in February for a winterized version of its interactive “Acoatica” adventure. In addition to trying out a winter-themed version of its indoor virtual game stations, visitors will be able to experiment first hand with and learn about ice fishing.

Acoatica’s winter version offers an opportunity to explore the challenges of endangered fish species in Quebec in a game that combines high-performance technology and learning in a fun atmosphere. Various interactive adventures have been adapted to winter and enhanced.

“Visitors will be able to play in the warmth and then continue the experience by going fishing. Not to mention that they can take their catch home! We also have oils and spices with local flavors that people can bring back and cook at home! It’s the perfect outing to reduce the mental load! Fresh air, good food and quality moments, a few souvenir photos, it’s all there! mentions Caroline Sage, director of the Parc Découverte Nature and the Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook.
