Over the weekend Alain Rayes, Member of Parliament for Richmond-Arthabaska and Conservative Shadow Cabinet Minister responsible for Canadian Heritage, Official Languages and Quebec Economic Development, took part in a Remembrance Day ceremony organized by members of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 86 – Arthabaska.
Due to the health measures in place, the ceremony was held soberly in front of the Victoriaville Cenotaph in the company of, among others, Veteran of the Year Cme Marc Bélanger, First Vice-President of Branch 86 Cme Sandra Morissette, Sergeant-at-Arms Cme Daniel Montplaisir, District Commander Cme Gérard Boily, Poppy Chairman Cme Pierre Deschambault and Poppy Secretary Cme Alain Fournier.
