Monday and Tuesday marked the first days of school for thousands of students across the Eastern Townships. Whereas many of the region’s French-language school service centres invited students for the beginning of the week, the schools of the Eastern Townships School Board opened their doors Tuesday morning.
The 2021-22 school year marks the third in a row touched in whole or in part by the COVID-19 Pandemic, but that didn’t stop school staff from doing their best to start the year with smiles on their masked faces.
