An auction of hope

This Friday night, for the second year in a row, students of the Visual Arts Concentration at Alexander Galt Regional High School will be holding an art exhibit and auction in the library of their school for the benefit of the Bishop’s Champlain Refugee-Student Sponsorship Project. Following up on a successful first edition in 2015, the students have returned to the mission of refugee student sponsorship, trying once again to put themselves into the shoes of child refugees to create works of art that are at the same time evocative and unique.
