And the winner is…

Congratulations are due to young Avery Brouillette, who was selected as the winner of this year’s pumpkin carving competition.
The young winner was selected with some difficulty from among 25 submissions that came in from all across the Eastern Townships.
Submissions were open to participants of all ages, although it was mainly younger readers who opted in, with one notable exception (see page four of Friday’s Outlet).
Thanks to all those who took the time to carve a pumpkin and send in a photo. Runners up should note that every photo submitted was carefully considered by our judges, and they cause more than a few smiles over the process.
