It began with a memorable Opening Ceremonies and ended with a night of awards, music and dancing: the 44th annual Quebec Provincial Rally “Around the World Rally 2019” was hosted by the Richmond 4-H Club July 25-28 at the Richmond Fair Grounds. One hundred members from ten 4-H and AJRQ clubs across the province represented 10 World Countries for a weekend of friendly competition. The 4-H community was honoured to have Compton-Stanstead MP Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of Agriculture and Agri Food officially open the event. Mme. Bibeau toured the grounds with Rally Chairperson, Devin Keenan and Quebec 4-H President, Jessica Rouleau speaking to 4-H members and leaders before addressing the crowd. Mme. Bibeau congratulated the 4-H members on their projects and the work they have done in their communities. The Minister spoke directly to the youth about the impact they can have on the future of our food industry and about increasing the leadership roles for youth.  See full story in the Tuesday, July 30 edition of The Record.
