Doors open today, Oct. 4 for the 19th edition of Maison Aube-Lumière’s fall-winter Friperie-Boutique. This popular pop-up thrift shop for Townships women offers a varied selection of quality clothing and accessories at affordable prices. By shopping at the Friperie-Boutique, customers make a significant contribution to the care offered by La Maison Aube-Lumière.

Since 1997, the palliative centre has welcomed more than 3,800 people with advanced cancer, free of charge.

To achieve its mission, La Maison must raise $1.5 million annually in the community.

Anyone wishing to donate women’s clothing, accessories or jewelry to the Friperie-Boutique can do so by dropping items off in the clothing bin located in the parking lot of Maison Aube-Lumière (3071, 12th Avenue North, Sherbrooke) or during Friperie-Boutique opening hours, Wednesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Oct. 4 to Nov, 4, 2023.

The boutique is located at 2655 King West (La Place des Congrès by the Delta) in Sherbrooke.
