Three of Mandy Doucet and Lambert Chavannes’ kids were planning on spending the break at the Bishop’s University summer day camp, until their daughter Selena, who has autism, was asked to leave two weeks into the program. “I don’t feel this was a fair shot,” Doucet said, failing to understand why her daughter, who had been accepted into one of the five slots available for kids with special needs, was asked to leave the camp because of her inability to integrate socially.
