Réal Vanasse and Aliette Grenier Vanasse of Ayer’s Cliff marked a rare and special occasion on Tuesday, reaching the 70th anniversary of the day they were married.
“Honestly, the time went by so quickly that we can hardly believe that it’s been 70 years,” Aliette said, “it’s like a dream.”
Asked if they had anything special planned for the day, she said that they try to do a little something special every day, but didn’t have anything big lined up.
