As a student, Barbra Plouffe walked down the halls of Parkview Elementary School in Granby and was always proud to wear the maroon colours of the school. It was in those halls that she gained a love of learning with the help and support of her teachers and the staff and it was there that her desire to pursue a career in education first began. She returned to Parkview later as a student teacher and then as a teacher and has also taught at Heroes’ Memorial and most recently at Knowlton Academy where she was also the staff assistant. While teaching, she went to Bishop’s University to obtain her Master’s in Educational Leadership.
This year, Barbra is starting the new school year as Parkview’s principal.
