Liberal incumbent Marie-Claude Bibeau was able to fend off the Bloc surge across the province by holding on to her seat. Bibeau won the seat with 21,550 votes (37.3 per cent), while Bloc candidate David Benoit took 18,507 votes (32 per cent). Conservative candidate Jessy McNeil came a distant third with 8,406 votes. Following the 2015 election, Bibeau was immediately appointed to a cabinet position as Minister of International Development and La Francophonie.
