After a trip to Washington last week and a stop in to the United Nations in New York on Wednesday, Compton-Stanstead Member of Parliament and Minister of International Development Marie-Claude Bibeau took the time for a whirlwind tour through Lennoxville on Thursday morning. While in town the Minister held a question and answer session with the local chapter of the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) in the Hall of Saint Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and made a visit to the Grace Village Retirement Community (Formerly Grace Christian Home) in Huntingville to wish Verna Westgate well on the occasion of her 108th birthday.
