Great things are happening for Grace Village. After recently announcing their new intergenerational project, Lennoxville’s private senior’s residence held the official grand opening for their new dental clinic Thursday morning. With the expertise of the Clinique dentaire Simon Roy, who has been serving the local community for many years, Grace Village residents will now have access to dental care right on site. This is a major step forward in healthcare at Grace Village and with a list of residents already hoping to book their appointment, it is clear that they couldn’t be more enthusiastic. According to those in attendance at Thursday’s grand opening, Grace village is the first private senior’s residence in Quebec to receive their very own dental clinic. “It’s very unique,” said David Price, President of the Grace Village Care Foundation. “I don’t know of another senior’s residence in Quebec, at least in long term care, that has a dental clinic within its walls and that’s very special.” It’s all thanks to a supportive community like the Eastern Townships that this dental clinic was made a reality. “It’s a big day in the life of Grace Village and one that we have been looking forward to for a while,” said Doug Bowker, Director at Grace Village.
