It’s been just over a week since Black Cat Books reopened its doors on Feb. 12. This followed a prolonged government mandated closure of non-essential businesses that began in late December.
The predominantly English, independent bookstore has been a Lennoxville staple for over 20 years. Owner Janice LaDuke said she is thrilled to be able to once again have customers come inside and enjoy the store the best way possible.
“It’s great to have people back. There’s so much serendipity, a place where you come to find one thing and then you get distracted by another book,” she said happily.
