Body found in Stanstead

A search party that set out looking for Stanstead septuagenarian Garry Ellis, missing since Tuesday, Aug. 6, was cut short on Sunday when Sûreté du Québec officers discovered a lifeless body on Dufferin Street in an area behind the grocery store. According to preliminary information obtained from SQ media representative Stéphane Tremblay, all signs point to the body being that of Ellis, although a formal identification was not yet made by press time.
