Following a water main break near the corner of Galt and Belvedere streets on Sunday, the City of Sherbrooke has issued a preventative boil-water advisory for everyone living in the vicinity of McManamy Street.
People living or working in the sector are encouraged to boil tap water for at least one minute before drinking it. The advisory, which is in effect for about 2,000 residents, will be in place until noon on Feb. 15.
