It was a proud weekend for curlers from the area, with bronze medals coming home from the Jeux du Quebec and the Quebec Special Olympics. Published in the Monday, March 11 edition of The Record.

According to Anita Goyette, mother of one of the young curlers, this was Brad, Brayden and Logan's first time at the Jeux du Quebec. Aidan, Joshua, Brad and Brayden have only been playing together as a team for two seasons and Logan joined as an alternate this year. Their goal was to maintain or improve their 5th place ranking from last year’s Inter-Jeux. They surpassed their goal and received certificates acknowledging the achievement during the games.
