Brome Bright Lights short story contest

The Brome Bright Lights short story contest, which started in 2006, is open to elementary school children in the Brome-Missisquoi region. Stories must be no more than 800 words in length and be works of the imagination. A $50 cash prize is awarded to the winner in each grade category, a $25 cash prize is awarded to the runner up and an additional $200 prize goes to the overall winner. Entry forms are posted on the Brome Bright Lights Facebook page or email Brome Lake Books. The deadline for submissions is April 17. The winners will be announced in June.
