Bromont company ­receives $2.92 ­million

Record Staff – On Friday, Brome-Missisquoi MP Denis Paradis, announced an investment of $2.92 million to FIbos, a Bromont-based company, todevelop a gas turbine sensor capable of providing highly accurate, real-time pressure and temperature measurements. The grant comes from the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
Fibos is developing Ultra-High Temperature Optical Pressure Transducers for Gas Turbine Engines, which add potential for fuel-saving benefits for turbines in both the aviation and power generation industry by leveraging data that enables adaptive control of the turbines.
