Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins hospital spokesperson Julie Constantineau confirmed the geriatric ward of the institution has been dealing with a C. difficile outbreak since Dec.30.
Visitors are still allowed into the wing during regular hours, but are asked to be vigilant about washing their hands before entering and leaving the hospital.
Constantineau said there are four active cases at the moment, but added that health professionals at BMP believe the situation is under control.
