By Matthew McCully – It was a weekend full of celebration in between cloud bursts throughout the Townships. Bury chose to hold its parade on Saturday and spectators managed to stay dry with the exception of a light mist just before the parade started at around noon. The gray sky wasn’t a deterrent for locals, many of whom were inside the Armoury Community Centre for some strawberry shortcake, a pre-parade tradition for many.
