The Canadian Government is stepping up security when it comes to illegally imported meat products. Speaking last week at the Sherbrooke Research and Development Centre of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Marie-Claude Bibeau, Member of Parliament for Compton Stanstead and Canada’s newest Minister of Agriculture, announced an investment of $31 million over the next five years to increase the number of detector dogs at Canadian airports.
