It may be months before they bloom in people’s gardens, but Daffodils will be popping up across the townships in just about two weeks’ time thanks to the annual fundraising efforts of a dedicated team of volunteers. Carrying on their annual tradition of canvassing a collection of local communities for the Canadian Cancer Society’s annual daffodil campaign, the local group is hard at work taking down names and numbers in an effort to do their part in the constant battle against a terrible disease.
