The Magog Cantonniers scored four goals in the third period of their Friday night game at the Magog arena, playing a large part in their eventual 5-2 victory against the Laval – Montreal Rousseau – Royal in a preseason game.
After a goalless first period, three players managed to beat the opposing goalkeeper in the middle period.
Antoine Pilotte and Francesco Pulice beat goalkeeper Kyan Labbé while Éloi Robert did the same against David Di Girolamo who gave up all five goals.
The latter and his teammate Luciano Ruggiero received 39 shots against 25 for Kyan Labbé who was in front of the Magog net throughout the game.
