By Matthew McCully – While a lot of humans are lucky enough to make their way to some air conditioning for a reprieve from the extreme heat, animals don’t have that luxury.
This deer was spotted cooling off in the shade on Spring Garden yesterday morning.
While the local herd normally head for the woods when people and cars approach, this deer made it very clear it was just too hot to run away, opting instead to sprawl out in the cool grass and watch the passing traffic. Published in the Thursday, July 5 edition of The Record.
